Amy is a visual artist and textile designer. After winning first prize for Best Printmaking in the Ethel Barringer Art Prize, she became the Art Director and Co-Owner of Umbrella Prints. She has 8 years teaching experience at both Ruth Tuck Art School in Adelaide and Kyoto in Japan and has been teaching at Nest Studio since 2008. Amy enjoys playing with colour, styling, photography and music and lives with her husband and (soon to be) three children and a cat called Grace.
Carly Schwerdt Owner/Director/Art Teacher

Carly created Nest Studio in 2003 as a place for young creative minds to let their imaginations soar. She is a graphic and textile designer with a degree in education and a passion for teaching art to young children. She is the Art Director and Co-Owner of Umbrella Prints and has been working with children since 2001. Carly enjoys sewing, printing, photography and movies. She lives with her husband, two daughters and chickens, Henny and Penny.

Tali is an Early Childhood teacher with 10 years experience teaching in Darwin, Cairns and Sydney. She is a musician and singer and has been playing guitar for more than 20 years. She has been teaching at Nest Studio since 2010 and enjoys sewing, print making, cooking and music. Tali lives with her husband and (soon to be) two children.
